21 Day Fix Workout; Week 1

Lee has been doing the 21 Day Fix workout program for the last week.  He started out having NEVER done a fitness program and wasn't sure he needed one.  He's been in decent shape and could still keep up physically with daily life including his physical job.  After attempting to do a workout one day he decided he did need to make an extra effort and make physical fitness a part of his daily life.

He's a busy Dad and works graveyards so finding the time to put into a workout program was hard.  He enjoyed his time every day relaxing on the couch catching up on the latest adventures of Jack Bauer and he didn't want to have to put in an hour at a gym plus drive times back and forth.  After looking at his options he decided to do the 21 Day Fix.

What appealed to him was that the whole program was 21 days.  He could do that.  Having never attempted a fitness program he wanted something he could finish and use that completion to push him forward.  The workouts are 30 minutes a day and he has time to workout, shower and relax on the couch still before heading for work.

One week down and he's feeling a lot stronger.  You can tell his squishy areas are getting firmer and where the workouts were hard the first week they are getting easier every day.

Nutrition is also a big component.  You can't exercise away a bad diet.  So he's really changed his eating.  He's switching fast food for home cooked meals.  Instead of a big bowl, or two, or frosted flakes he's drinking Shakeology.  The first few days it was a little of a struggle to get out of that fast food habit but now he's getting into more of a routine with taking the time to fix a sandwich at home instead of heading to Arby's.

He made this video to share in his own words what he's been doing this first week and we'll keep updating his journey.  For additional information email us or check it out HERE

3-Day Refresh RESULTS; FAST Weight loss and inches lost in just 3 days!

I don't know about you but I'm a failure.  I seem to give up A LOT and have a hard time going through something with a long term commitment.  ESPECIALLY when it comes to diet and exercise! I've tried so many different things but never finish it out.

Well that brings me to the 3-Day Refresh!

First off, it's just 3 days.  Even a chronic failure like me can do something for 3 days!

I'm starting to make changes in my diet and adding in exercise and I know it takes time to see results but darn it, I want to see something NOW.  I want that push to keep going another week.  Knowing I was headed into a new 3-day commitment to clean eating found myself binge eating and wanting lots of those treats I've been eating too much of.  I needed something to help me refocus on my goals and set myself up to rocket up my results for the next 30 days.

That's what the 3-day refresh did for me.  Since it's all about getting good fruits and veggies in along with protein I was able to give myself a break from sugar and carbs to get my body adjusted to my clean eating plan for the next 30 days, and beyond.

The first day went good.  I had a Shakeology for breakfast along with 12 frozen strawberries.  Mid-afternoon I had a fiber rich drink called Fiber Sweep.  Lunch was a veggie based protein drink along with a serving of fruit, vegetables and a healthy fat- carrots and guacamole was my go-to for this.  Afternoon snack was another serving of vegetables and healthy fats.  Dinner was another protein drink and a plate of vegetables and a healthy fat.  Green tea and low-sodium vegetable broth were also incorporated throughout the day.  And water, half your body weight in water. Ex; 150lbs = 75oz of water.

I can tell you that dinner had me FULL. I usually had to space it out a little because I was so full.

Throughout the process I wasn't starved and because you're eating every few hours you're constantly getting fuel for your body.  Everything is nutrient loaded and the focus is on clean, veggie treats.

Now my results!

As you can see I lost 5 pounds and 2" off my hips!  I was really impressed how my lumps and bumps were a lot smoother.  The spillage over the top of my waist band was a lot less and my pants were loose.

And all this was after 3 days!

Just the jump start I needed to get through my next month of workouts and eating clean.

If you're ready to get some results now with fruits and veggies and protein that will leave you feeling full and energetic as you're working on your fitness or maybe to get back on track after a vacation contact me for additional info.  I'd love to be your support through the first 3-days of your new lifestyle.

About me

Hello, and welcome!

I'm Carole. I'm a wife and Mom to 2 Christmas birthday kiddos.  I'm on a journey to strengthen my mind and body so that I can remain an active part of my families life.

A little about me-
I'm a stay-at-home mom and keep busy with kids activities as well as medical appointments.  I have Pompe disease, a form of muscular dystrophy.  Staying active is a daily struggle as I work to get my muscles engaged and moving.  I made daily exercise at home a priority and try to eat a healthy diet.

About my family-
My husband works a very physical job but has decided to also include daily exercise at home into his schedule as well as eating a more well balanced diet.  He's always been an active guy but over the years has found it harder to work off those burgers and fries.

I have a son and daughter who are 2 years apart but both decided to make their appearance on either side of Christmas. My son is in kindergarten and daughter is in preschool.

I want to be here as a source of support, encouragement and become a partner with YOU in your journey to find a healthier life.  I truly believe EVERYONE has the ability to make a change. Even if you can't physically move around a lot you can make a change through your diet. We're all so busy with work, kids, duties at home and I want you to find time to take care of yourself!  I'm still a work-in-progress and look forward to going on this journey with you!
